Korean journalists visit America, Newsplex
Executives from the Korean Association of Newspapers recently visited America on a trip from New York to Atlanta to survey the state of the news media in the US and study what to do in their own country.
The group first visited the New York Times on Monday where they spent the entire day there learning about the paper's digital efforts.
On Tuesday, the executives got on a flight bound for Columbia to visit Newsplex for two days and learn about the newsroom of the future. The group listened to presentations about capitalizing on the power of new media and spoke to publishers from two major papers in South Carolina.
The trip ended in Atlanta, where the executives toured the Atlanta Journal-Constitution and the NDN Digital Media Headquarters.
