Voice of America Spends a Week in Newsplex
Journalists from Voice of America in Washington DC trained in Newsplex during the week of Oct. 18. It was a good week for the journalists, who found themselves learning and practicing new media techniques as the South Carolina State Fair was in full swing.
The group actually travelled over to the fair to put what they learned in to practice using Flip cameras.
While plenty of the week was spent covering new media, talk quickly diverged towards how the group could take what they had learned back to Washington and implement it in their own news room.
